Ballarat Home Brew Centre
What started as a hobby many years ago, has turned into a passionate lifelong obsession and thriving regional business.
Roger and Averil Eatts took over the Ballarat Home Brew Centre in November 2000 and set to work increasing their client database and providing an extensive range of products and information from their quaint and friendly little store.
The Ballarat Home Brew Centre has become well known throughout Ballarat and Western Victoria as a one-stop shop for all your home brewing supplies, personal service and expert advice.
Not only does Ballarat Home Brew Center cater for all the needs of the home brewer including beers, wines, ciders and spirits, they also have fresh local honey, bread mixes, bread flours and premixes for muffins, scones and pancakes.
Situated in central Ballarat, but away from the hustle and bustle, Ballarat Home Brew Centre is easily located with plenty of parking. When you get there, you may find it hard to leave with all the interesting paraphernalia to explore, and a pot belly stove to warm you up in the welcoming atmosphere.
After 9 hard years of dedication, working until all hours, becoming the local ‘Beer Guru’ and a great mate to many, Roger lost his battle with cancer on 24th June 2009.
This is where we introduce Wayne, Averil’s brother-in-law. Wayne left his career of truck driving to begin his dreams of becoming the number one employee in his favourite shop.
And if you think Roger was keen on his beloved beer making and home brew shop, wait until you meet Wayne. After being taught by the master, Roger’s apprentice has his own enthusiastic home brew obsessions that are growing by the day!
